Weirdness
Why is it that spring cleaning the house is tiring, frustrating, and just plain not fun, but cleaning up the cabin is relaxing?
Yeah, I get a little creeped out when a spider surprises me, and annoyed at all the signs of mice. I wasn't too pleased when I locked myself out, broke the plastic window that was supposed to "pop" out of the frame, and had to repair that. covering the old wood shelves with contact paper can be a trick, with all the cut outs to accomodate the wall studs. But at the end of the day I've had a good night's sleep and woke up refreshed.
There's still a long list of things that need to be tweaked. But I'll get to them, and get in a little fishing now and then, too.

Blessed are those who've gone fishing, for theirs shall be the bounty of all outdoors!
Perhaps it is more relaxing because you don't live there often enough to get it cluttered. Clutter is the biggest pain in the butt at my house.
I'm glad you went fishing - now that's relaxing!
@jacksoncroons - Amen to that!
@nellinidaho - You've got a point there, though the place has been there so long I'm dealing with about 5 generations of other people's clutter. I loved my Nana, but her beat up, mouse chewed, dusty old hairbrush had to go!
