  • Giddy

    Copy of IM002057

    Wonderful! Two dry, sunny days in a row after the wettest June in a century or so. It's like a drug effecting the whole environment. The birds are singing like crazy, insects chirring in the grass, and primroses visibly unfurling their petals.

    Giddy, Euphoric, High-as-a Kite Blissful. Amazing what a difference there is between my mood 2 days ago and this wonderful excitement brought on by much needed sunshine.

    Here's hoping some of this rubs off on you, too, if you're feeling down.

    Good morning

    We've had a wet June here, too.  The vines are going crazy with growth.  Something about sunshine just re-energizes!

    @nellinidaho - It is incredible. I could see the movement in the flower petals! There is ground nut growing all over my shrubs, and you could measure the growth after just a half hour of morning sun. Crazy - in a good way.

    17 is a long long life for a cat

    It was bone dry here for the month of June

    We haven't been short on sunshine here, but your post still gave me a smiling start to my day! Hope your sunny days continue!

    FYI: I worked on my disaster room over the weekend and made it into my office & quilting area. I LOVE it!!! I'll try to post some pics for you. Having my own room is so much fun!

    I love sunny days! (especially after having a rainy spell). Beautiful photos of the flowers :)

    @cherylmsf2 - Hi Cuz!

    My mess is still lingering. The two boxes of canning jars are finally back in Joe's cellar, where they belong, but the rest . . . Well. If it were less unatractive I'd claim it was "decor". If the front yard ever dries out, I'm having a yard sale. Really.

    Where are your favorite streams?

  • dryvona

    @ElevenStones - Northern NH, in the north part of the White Mountain nat'l park and surrounding state parks. All those lovely rocky places feeding the Connecticut and Androscoggin rivers.
